Preventive Measures, Procedures, Cleaning and Sanitization Protocols.

At Las Palmas by the Sea we have developed an improved cleaning and sanitation plan that consists of added precautionary measures throughout all aspects of the guest and team member experience.
These security protocols have been in strict adherence to the guidelines set by the federal, state and Mexican health institutions, some mandatory by the health authorities, and for the commitment we have with our guests and collaborators, we are attentive in comply with cavality.

Below you will find a summary of our Prevention measures.

  • 1.-Health of collaborators and guests:

  • Antibacterial hand sanitizing stations will be placed in all areas of the hotel, with additional signage in all areas of the home and guests to remind all important health and hygiene protocols such as hand washing and physical distancing. . Physical contact will be minimized as much as possible.

  • 2.-Protocols in collaborators:

  • All our collaborators receive comprehensive training on security protocols. This includes training in identifying flu-like symptoms or viruses among guests, and following a firm protocol to inform a medical professional if necessary. Additionally, all collaborators receive training on global sanitation standards established by third parties, such as Ecolab and NSF. In addition to the continuous training, the collaborators will be monitored for any symptoms (including temperature taking) daily and the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) will be required according to their role and responsibility.

  • 3.-Cleaning and sanitation protocols:

  • We use Ecolab cleaning products and standards that meet EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines and are approved for use and are effective against viruses, bacteria and other pathogens in the air and blood. We have increased the frequency of deep cleaning and disinfection of all common areas, public spaces and guest rooms (in addition to interior areas) with an emphasis on high-contact surfaces such as reception desks, elevators and buttons, door handles, public restrooms, room keys and locks, ATMs, handrails, tables, gym equipment, dining areas, lounging areas, pool chairs, and more.
    On the other hand, all the bedding is transported individually in bags and subjected to an additional sanitization process in the wash.

  • 4.-Physical distance:

  • Guests and collaborators are instructed to practice physical distancing by standing six feet (1.8 meters) from other groups that are not traveling with them; This includes standing in lines, waiting for elevators (including limited capacity), or walking around the hotel. In addition, the location of the furniture in all the common and interior areas has been reorganized to allow more space (Tables, lounge chairs, armchairs and other furniture) including the design for meetings and events.

  • 5.-Guest experience:

  • Each step of the guests journey has its own set of defined protocols that ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and collaborators, while maintaining the level of service you expect. This includes, disinfection of luggage, non-invasive temperature readings through a thermal camera, a safe and agile registration process, strictly applied hygiene and physical distancing practices in all the common areas of the hotel.

  • 6.-A&B:
